Ruth’s grandmother’s pie crust

*ingredients

°4 cups of all-purpose flour
°1 3/4 cups of ghee
°3 tablespoons of white sugar
°2 teaspoons of salt
°1 egg
°1/2 cup of water

*Directions

In a large bowl, mix the all-purpose flour, shortening, sugar, and salt. Mix with a pastry blender until crumbly.
In a small bowl, mix the eggs with the water. Stir with flour mixture. Chill in the refrigerator until ready to use.
